Transit buses are typically used in cities and municipalities to transport individuals from point A to point B, generally along a pre-defined route. Because most transit buses are designed with the engine in the rear of the vehicle, many experience overheating in moderately high temperatures due to the lack of "ram air". This can cause engine overheating which ultimately can result in engine failure or engine fires. EMP has discovered that installing its' secondary cooling solutions can deliver more power to the wheels, improve fuel economy, eliminate engine downtime and reduce the risk of thermal events.

Current recirculation pumps are expensive and offer limited flow options.
