Summary

Builds rapport with customers and answers questions, investigates concerns and interacts with assembly, quality and materials operation to ensure customer satisfaction.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Talks with customers by phone or in person and receives orders or changes in regard to assembly.
  • Take customer orders, enter them into the system and insure they are delivered accurately and on time.
  • Solicits, maintains and communicates information pertaining to customer satisfaction and changes.
  • Knowledge and follow up on lead times to ensure customer needs can be met.
  • Solicits sale of new or additional services.
  • Adjusts complaints concerning billing or product, referring complaints of product to designated departments for investigation.
  • Investigates, communicates and follows up on solutions to quality, materials and on time shipping issues that may affect the customer.
  • Visits customers at their place of residence to investigate conditions preventing completion of service connection orders and to build a rapport and show dedication to customer.
  • Assist with accounting and clerical functions as needed.

Education and/or Experience

  • Associate Degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school in business functions or significantly more experience to compensate for the lack of degree or equivalent as determined by the Customer Service Manager.
  • Minimum of two years customer service experience, preferably in automotive assembly or automotive manufacturing.
