Summary
Responsible for all aspects of marketing, market research, marketing campaigns, social and online media, design and graphics, website, communications, trade shows, marketing advertisements, market trends and competitors, and the execution of a yearly marketing plan.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Marketing

  • Lead the development and execution of an annual marketing plan.
  • Collaborate with Senior Leadership, Sales, Engineering, and Operations teams to fully understand business needs as they relate to marketing and promotion.
  • Develop, execute, track, and evaluate the success of marketing campaigns.
  • Perform market research to stay ahead of market trends, competitors, changing technology, pricing strategies.
  • Assist the New Product Development Manager with in-depth market research for new products as well as search product name and trademark databases.
  • Collaborate with development team to preform SWOT analysis on new and existing products and programs.
  • Pack up promotional boxes for outside reps, distributors, and OEM’s.
  • Develop and execute the marketing calendar and coordinate with other internal teams as needed.
  • Take the lead on and/or assist with events including planning, promotion, and onsite details.
  • Create and manage a database to capture and analyze market data to help evaluate existing and potential product and service markets.
  • Develop and manage questionnaires and surveys.

Design, Graphics, & Marketing Material

  • Create and/or coordinate the creation of marketing and promotional materials, including videos, direct mail, brochures, presentations, newsletters, etc.
  • Update existing marketing materials (print and electronic) on an ongoing basis.
  • Collaborate with the Sales department to review marketing literature and determine reorder timing and quantities, any needed updates, obsolete if necessary, etc.
  • Manage inventory and replenishment of promotional materials.
  • Create content and design graphics for all tradeshow, website, marketing, promotional, etc. needs.
  • Coordinate printing needs for consumable and special event materials.
  • Work with outside vendors, such as graphic designers, photographers, printers, sign manufacturers, mail fulfillment houses, newspapers, and radio and television stations to ensure high quality, timely service.
  • Stay at the forefront of new and emerging trends and technologies to help inspire new ideas.

Website, Social, and Online Platforms

  • Develop an online and social media marketing strategy.
  • Maintain and keep company website up to date including marketing material and promotional events.
  • Manage and create content for the website, multiple social media platforms, email campaigns, digital ads, etc.
  • Create and deliver unique and engaging content on a regular basis across all company social media platforms.
  • Plan, film, and edit photos and videos to support social media, website, and internal objectives.
  • Manage online brand reputation.
  • Capture and analyze social media and website metrics.
  • Maintain testimonial database.
  • Assist with and create content for our internal engagement platform.

Communications & Media

  • Develops an annual marketing and communications plan to support company brand, support fundraising, and engage internal and external stakeholders.
  • Communicates professionally with customers outside the organization.
  • Develops written communications for internal and external use (blogs/newsletters).
  • Actively seeks opportunities to share company stories and expertise with media.
  • Supports proactive relationships with the press/media and the community.
  • Responds, coordinates, and prepares talking points for media requests, utilizing the appropriate internal stakeholders and subject matter experts.
  • Creates and disseminates press releases to the media and community.

Trade Shows

  • Coordinate and execute tradeshow participation including scheduling booth space, set-up, tear down, shipments to and from venue within known deadlines.
  • Compile trade show review after event including responsibility for budget analysis.
  • Utilize and manage external vendors, as needed, to effectively execute our trade show strategy.

 

Education and/or Experience
Bachelor Degree in Marketing or Business and four years business related experience.
