Summary
Manages commercial and strategic relationship with customer purchasing and commodity buyers and managers. Oversees customer service representative activities to align with company goals for each customer.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Responsible for maintaining current business in addition to securing new business from current and prospective customers.
  • Responsible for developing sales strategies and forecasting sales volume monthly, quarterly and on an annual basis.
  • Responsible for understanding the customer’s business needs to capitalize on product requirements and representing products and solutions to the customer.
  • Manages commercial account activity and resolving open account issues.
  • Leads account team including quality engineer, customer service and manufacturing engineering in support to the customer.
  • Follow-up on quotations for new business opportunities.  Ensure contract implementation of quotations for existing business.
  • Negotiate contracts (i.e. NDA, long term agreements, warranty, NRE) with the customers.
  • Heavy involvement in project management to ensure all steps are completed on time and that the customer is satisfied with the progress.
  • Responsible for resolving past due accounts receivables.
  • Train and develop customer service representatives.  Work closely with other team members to identify continuous improvement tasks and projects that support the Account strategic vision.

 

Education and/or Experience
Bachelors degree and 6 years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
