Summary

The Quality Engineer is responsible for determining production standards for EMP’s products by establishing quality control systems and setting product requirement rules. Their duties include identifying the specifications for an ideal product, determining an appropriate level of variation and monitoring quality assurance rates.

Summary

Assemble and test products during process validation and launch, and for production of highly variable and/or customized products.  Assist Engineers in production process development, verification and implementation.

shift Machine Operators

Summary
Operates computer numerical control (CNC) machines to machine castings or components following blue prints and other written and verbal specifications by performing the following duties: Must pass a pre-employment drug screen. Must pass a pre-employment math assessment.

Software Engineer

SUMMARY

Develop software required for the successful production and support of embedded systems.  This includes software for embedded controller hardware interfaces, embedded control algorithms, embedded data management, build environment, calibration generation, automated test equipment, production line support systems, production line test, reliability test, field test, data analysis, field service tools, part number traceability and warranty analysis.

Preference will be extended to those who have experience developing embedded control algorithms and/or motor control software.

Repairs and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment such as engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines and equipment by performing the following duties. Journeyman card is required.
